Ira Mijdam staat aan het begin van een bijzonder topsporttraject.                                                                              

Haar ambitie is groot:

Deelname aan de WKF Karate One Youth League toernooien in 2027 en vervolgens doorgroeien naar deelname aan de  WKF Karate One Serie A toernooien vanaf de tweede helft van 2028 – een niveau waarop nog maar weinig Nederlandse Karateka’s actief zijn.

Om de aansluiting met de internationale top te maken, is deelname aan buitenlandse toernooien essentieel. Op deze evenementen komen de beste Karateka’s ter wereld samen en wordt ervaring opgedaan die in Nederland niet beschikbaar is.

Dit traject vraagt niet alleen discipline, talent en dagelijkse training maar ook financiële ondersteuning.

De kosten bestaan onder andere uit:

• Internationale reizen en vluchten.
• Hotel- en verblijfkosten.
• Inschrijfgelden voor WKF-toernooien.
• Trainingsstages en voorbereiding.
• Coaching en begeleiding.
• Sportmateriaal en herstel.

Daarom zijn wij op zoek naar sponsors, partners en supporters die willen investeren in talent, doorzettingsvermogen en Nederlandse topsport.

Ira Mijdam is at the beginning of a remarkable elite sports trajectory.

Her ambition is high:

Participation in the WKF Karate One Youth League tournaments in 2027 and subsequently progressing to participation in the WKF Karate One Serie A tournaments starting in the second half of 2028 – a level at which very few Dutch Karatekas are currently active.

To connect with the international elite, participation in foreign tournaments is essential. At these events, the best Karatekas in the world gather and gain experience that is not available in the Netherlands.

This program requires not only discipline, talent, and daily training, but also financial support.

The costs include, among others:

• International travel and flights.
• Hotel and accommodation costs.
• Entry fees for WKF tournaments.
• Training camps and preparation.
• Coaching and guidance.
• Sports equipment and recovery.
